An introduction to water-based
metallic paints that achieve a beautiful, realistic finish
on furniture, walls and trim. We will use pewter, copper,
gold and pearlescence, with applications in a variety of
tarnish washes and sealed finishes, including porcelain
crackle glaze. You will also learn how to apply actual metal
tarnishes in rust and bronze verdigris. Portfolio-ready
sample boards, created in this workshop, add sophistication
and luster to your collection of techniques.
